The San Diego Sports Arena will be the site of a 24-hour basketball marathon, which starts today at 6 p.m. Hoop Hysteria ’90 will open with a slam dunk contest, then stage 24 consecutive one-hour basketball games between county high school and recreation teams.
Tickets are $5 and proceeds benefit the San Diego Police Athletic League.
