In Stephen Williams’ story, “Sydney in ’90 Is Rocking, Not Waltzing, Matilda,” June 3, he failed to mention that the opals in the geological museum in the Rocks district are really lovely and free from government tax. They are more reasonably priced than elsewhere and consist of loose stones as well as cuff links, earrings, rings and pendants.
