6 Hurt as Amtrak Train, Tractor-Trailer Rig Collide

MERIDIAN, Miss. — An Amtrak train collided with a tractor-trailer rig Thursday, injuring six people, authorities said. Four of the injured were reported in good condition at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital; the others were treated at Riley Memorial Hospital, hospital officials said.
