Anaheim-San Juan Van Pool Starting

ANAHEIM — A new van pool that will take commuting South Orange County residents to workplaces in Anaheim will begin Monday morning.
Established and subsidized by the city, the pool offers space for public employees and any other workers commuting from South County to jobs near the Anaheim Civic Center.
The 12-seat van will leave Escondido in northern San Diego County at 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, stop once in San Juan Capistrano, then arrive in Anaheim at 7 a.m.
More stops will be added as needed, city officials said. The return trip will leave Anaheim at 3:30 p.m.
City employees will ride for $75 monthly; others will pay $90. More information is available and seats can be reserved at (714) 999-KARS.
