2,500-Home Development Planned: Santa Margarita Co. wants to build 2,500 homes on a 1,000 acre parcel in southern Orange County. If county officials approve it, the new development, to be called Las Flores, would be one of Orange County’s largest. It would be located next to the company’s new town Rancho Santa Margarita.
