Musicians Manuel Yanez and Hernan Pinilla will be recommended to share a $5,400 California Arts Council Artist-in-Residence grant to teach Andean music within the San Juan Capistrano Regional Library system. The Los Angeles-based artists would collaborate on the project under the council’s Artists in Communities program. The council is scheduled to vote on the recommendation Friday.
