Toy Recalled: Associated Merchandising of New York has recalled 7,600 “Bead Coaster” toys because the wooden beads may become detached, posing a choking hazard to children. The three blue, yellow and red wires of the toys form a roller-coaster-shaped vertical field attached to a wooden base. The toy was sold nationwide from September, 1989, to March, 1990, under the name “Creative Years,” which appears on the wooden base. Consumers may obtain a refund at the store where purchased.
