SEAL BEACH : Council Votes Salary Increase

The City Council has voted to boost its members’ salaries from $125 to $300 per month, a raise approved by voters in June.
The council had not received a pay raise since the 1960s, said City Manager Bob Nelson. Monday’s action will bring council salaries up to the base level set by the state for cities of Seal Beach’s size, he said.
