SEC Complaint Settled: A California businessman settled a civil complaint with federal securities regulators the same day they accused him of failing to disclose the size of his stake in a company over a three-year period. The Securities and Exchange Commission said it accepted the settlement of Joel M. Barry, 40, of Thousand Oaks, on charges that he failed to report on time, among other things, transactions totaling $3.3 million. Barry neither admitted nor denied any wrongdoing.
