P.M. BRIEFING : Casinos to Fly Cards to Troops

LAUGHLIN, Nev. — Five casinos are planning to airlift 10,000 decks of playing cards to troops in Saudi Arabia by this weekend.
Joe Mattes, director of sales and promotions at Laughlin’s Colorado Belle, said the cards will be sent to the troops through Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino.
Along with Colorado Belle and Laughlin’s Edgewater Casino in Laughlin, Silver City, Slots a Fun and Circus Circus in Las Vegas will be donating the cards.
