The Use of Anti-Racketeering Law to Fight Speeding Tickets

I wish attorney Ernest J. Franceschi Jr., would take his “TP GUN” Porsche off Pacific Coast Highway.
For 18 years, I have heard the sirens of ambulances responding to the terrible accidents happening on the stretch of highway between Golden West Street and Warner Avenue.
I have driven that portion of PCH thousands of times, and a Huntington Beach officer is always in plain sight. If he wasn’t there, I can only guess how much more carnage we would see. He says he received three separate tickets in the same spot.
I wonder how many times it took to teach him not to put his hands on a hot stove. The courts are crowded enough without having to handle a case using a law (RICO) that was obviously intended for other purposes.
If this is all Franceschi has to do with his time, it’s just another reason for signing a petition to dump every other publicity-seeking lawyer in Orange County off the end of the Huntington Beach Pier. No, on second thought, I take that back, our beaches already became polluted earlier in the year.
