COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Frazier’s Goal Gets Cypress Past Palomar in Soccer

Ken Frazier scored a goal midway through the first half to lead Cypress College to a 1-0 victory over Palomar in a nonconference men’s soccer match Tuesday at Cypress.
Lee Milton had four saves and Joe Dillman one for Cypress. Palomar is 1-1.
In other nonconference men’s soccer:
Irvine Valley 3, Long Beach 3--Ian Faulkner scored on a penalty kick with one minute left to lift Long Beach (0-0-3) to a tie. Greg Damon scored all three goals for Irvine Valley (2-1-1).
Fullerton 2, San Diego Mesa 1--Ricardo Cunha and Gaspar Gutierrez scored in the first half for visiting Fullerton (1-1). David Hopper had nine saves for Fullerton.
Mt. San Antonio 5, Golden West 2--Jed Smith and Kevin Martin scored for Golden West, which lead at the half, 1-0. Golden West is 1-1.
Southwestern 2, Orange Coast 1--Andy Strouse scored 33 minutes into the first half to tie it, 1-1, but Southwestern got a goal in the second half.
