Deterioration of TV Programs

Good for Cal! The great majority of Americans feel the same way about the junk that passes for entertainment on TV. Several years ago George Harrison of Beatles fame was interviewed and said about American TV--”garbage.” We’ve all known it; that is why I personally watch KCET. (It leans to the left politically, but has an intellectual aura that appeals to most individuals.)
Thomas is 100% right. And then we wonder why we have moral problems with our youth--gangs, drugs, drinking, foul language, etc. Movies today also could clean themselves up. We can see pornography is creeping into so-called family entertainment.
Most people liked “Driving Miss Daisy.” Why? It was decent. Young people are so impressionable that it is imperative that in the formative years they view uplifting films with Judeo-Christian values, values that have been the foundation of this nation’s greatness.
