Chatsworth 34, Canoga Park 0--Quarterback Brandon Ruedy connected with Delvon Hardaway on touchdown passes of 55 and nine yards in the first quarter to lead Chatsworth (1-1). It was Canoga Park’s second consecutive shutout defeat.
Ruedy completed 11 of 14 for 164 yards and three touchdowns. He also tossed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Brian Comer in the third period.
Hardaway finished with 82 yards in four catches. Chatsworth’s Joynier Lockett rushed for 94 yards in four carries, including a 78-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Rayna Stewart added 71 yards in eight carries.
The Chatsworth defense held Canoga Park to 13 yards in offense in the second half and 67 overall. Eric Custadio led Canoga Park with 39 yards rushing in nine carries.
