Santa Paula 13, Montclair Prep 7--Santa Paula quarterback Ben Fausset completed 11 of 21 for 102 yards and two touchdowns at Pierce College.

Wide receiver Art Marcelo scored the winning touchdown on a 28-yard reception near the end of the first half.

Santa Paula (2-2) running back Dustin Magdaleno led all rushers with 71 yards in 19 carries. Magdaleno added 36 yards on seven receptions and scored the Cardinals’ first touchdown, on a seven-yard reception, midway through the second quarter.

Montclair Prep’s only score came on an opening kickoff when Greg Cole dashed 79 yards for a touchdown. The Mounties (1-3) were held to 111 yards in offense.
