The Youth Issues Summit, a follow-up to a March workshop on ways to enhance youth services in the city, is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Duarte Senior Center.
Community leaders, including city and school officials, parents, students, business leaders, medical experts and sheriff’s deputies, will attend the half-day summit, according to a report presented at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
The purpose of the workshop is to review the progress of programs proposed at the March summit and come up with some new programs, City Manager Jesse Duff told the council.
