Luxury Tax and Cries of Pain in Newport

The story on the proposed luxury tax and its effect on Orange County merchants and consumers (Oct. 2) was given the continuation headline on A20, “LUXURY: Tax Proposal Irks Many.”
This is an error. Many should be changed to Few. The word many, as well as the phrase “Cries of Pain” (from the front-page headline), would have been attached more appropriately to a story on the proposed cuts in Medicare.
