Norman Leads Clipper Victory

MIAMI — Ken Norman scored 26 points and Benoit Benjamin had 17 rebounds as the Clippers overcame an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Miami Heat, 118-108, Tuesday night in an exhibition.
The Clippers trailed, 93-82, before an 11-2 run featuring five of Charles Smith’s 25 points cut the Heat’s advantage to 95-93 with 8:27 left.
After a Miami basket, Norman made two field goals and started a 10-2 spurt that gave the Clippers their first lead since the middle of the second quarter, 103-99.
Norman led a 9-1 Clipper run to make the score 114-103 with 2:16 to play, putting the game out of reach.
