AT&T; Accused of Racketeering: A Venezuelan company said it has filed a $90-million lawsuit against American Telephone & Telegraph Co., charging it with racketeering and antitrust violations. Westel de Venezuela, AT&T;’s former representative in the South American country, said the communications giant tried to control the telecommunications, computer and data terminal industries. In a statement, New York-based AT&T; said it has not yet seen the suit, “but we have had differences with the company in recent times that led to the end of our relationship with them early this year.”
