David Duke’s Strong Showing in Louisiana Vote
- Share via
The election news from Louisiana where Duke, an avowed anti-Semite, drew an estimated 60% of the white voters, must have seemed at first glance welcome tidings for black leader Louis Farrakhan, whose own attacks on the Jews are practically interchangeable with Duke’s. We wonder if it causes Farrakhan any discomfort to know that Duke’s anti-Semitism is only exceeded by his hatred of blacks, as evidenced by his past service as grand wizard of the KKK? We doubt it. Bigotry, along with politics, makes for weird bedfellows.
