Northridge Again Falls to Hawaii in Volleyball

Cal State Northridge gave third-ranked Hawaii a tougher match late Friday than in the teams’ previous match, but the Matadors nevertheless lost to the host Rainbows in women’s volleyball for the second consecutive night.
Hawaii (17-2) prevailed, 15-9, 15-10, 16-14. The Matadors, who were paced by Marianne Dixon with 12 kills, fell to 18-7.
CSUN sophomore Patty Fitzsimmons had 11 kills and a team-high 13 digs.
