Alhambra 32, Burbank 13--Alhambra (4-5, 3-1) earned a playoff berth as Russell Stanley gained 230 yards in 32 carries and scored on runs of four, two and three yards at Burroughs High. Burbank (1-8, 0-4) fell to its seventh loss in a row.

After Stanley ran two yards for a touchdown with 41 seconds left in the first half, Ray Guillen returned the ensuing kickoff 93 yards to cut Alhambra’s halftime lead to 20-13.
