St. Francis 28, St. Genevieve 0--St. Francis limited St. Genevieve to one first down and 43 yards of total offense at Birmingham High, leaving the Valiants winless in San Fernando Valley League competition.
St. Francis (6-3, 2-1) scored in the first quarter on a 22-yard Shawn Haney run and added three touchdowns in the second quarter.
Larry Duenas and quarterback John Willis ran for scores of one and two yards. The Golden Knights scored again less than a minute after Willis’ run when Valiant quarterback/punter Bobby Kite fumbled the snap at his two-yard line and St. Francis linebacker Marty Konrad picked up the loose ball with :23 left in the half.
