Ventura Entertainment Posts $2.6-Million Loss

Ventura Entertainment Group Ltd., a North Hollywood television and movie production company, said it lost $2.6 million on revenues of $3.08 million in the eight months that ended June 30. Ventura Entertainment recently changed the end of its fiscal year from Oct. 31 to June 30 to better conform with other entertainment concerns.
Ventura Entertainment’s subsidiary, Ventura Motion Picture Group, lost $482,996 for the eight months compared to a loss of $4,487 for the period from Aug. 10, 1989, (when the subsidiary was formed), through Oct. 31, 1989. The subsidiary had no revenues in either period.
