Woman, 22, Killed in Car Accident

A 22-year-old Port Hueneme woman died late Monday after being ejected from a subcompact car that was struck broadside while spinning out of control, California Highway Patrol officers said.
The victim, whose name was being withheld, was pronounced dead at Las Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks at 8:35 p.m.,Officer David Webb said.
Webb said the woman was in the back seat of a Datsun driven by Cammie Hoyt, 23, of Port Hueneme.
Her car was struck by a Ford driven by Richard Gardner, 42, of Camarillo, who was unhurt, Webb said.
Webb said Hoyt, who is four months pregnant, and a 12-year-old girl in the car suffered minor injuries.
