Camp Kilpatrick 48, St. John’s 8--Michael Black carried 16 times for school records of 324 yards and six touchdowns for Camp Kilpatrick (6-3-1, 4-1), which clinched at least a tie for the Freedom League title at Beaumont.

Black, a 5-10, 175-pound junior, rushed for 208 yards in 13 first-half carries. He carried for scores of 30, 65, two, two, 57 and 57 yards, tying the third-best single-game touchdown output in Southern Section history.
