Taft 13, Chatsworth 7--Vance Swendell ran 18 yards for a touchdown with 6:32 left, breaking a 7-7 tie at Chatsworth. The score capped an 11-play, 85-yard drive.
After a scoreless first half, Taft (5-3, 4-2) scored when Lamar Lawson concluded a six-play, 72-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown run.
Chatsworth (2-6, 1-5) tied the score on Mukasa Crowe’s two-yard run. Swendell rushed for a game-high 166 yards in 22 carries.
