California Home Sales and Prices Rise: Sales of existing homes in California gained 2.6% in November over October, the first back-to-back monthly increase since February, the California Assn. of Realtors reported. The trade group also reported that the November median home price increased for the first time in seven months, rising 2.2% to $192,280 from October’s figure. However, prices fell 3.4% in Los Angeles, to $292,960. There were also declines in San Diego (1.3%) and Orange County (2.1%).
