William & Mary Coach Jimmye Laycock changed his mind about accepting the Boston College coaching job.
On Wednesday, Laycock, 42, resigned after 11 years at William & Mary to take the Boston College job. The school had scheduled a Thursday news conference to present the new coach.
Laycock’s salary at William & Mary is $73,000. Sources have said that he could have earned upward of $200,000 at Boston College.
