LOS ALAMITOS : Youngsters Invited to Play Basketball

The city Recreation and Community Services Department is accepting registrations for boys and girls youth basketball programs.

Divisions are offered for youngsters ages 5 to 14. A Pee Wee Division is available for children in kindergarten through second grade.

One practice session is held at a school site during the week, with games played at the Oak School gym on Saturdays. League games begin Jan. 5.

Registration fees of $20 and $25 include a T-shirt and attendance at a banquet to mark the end of the season. For information, call (213) 430-1073 or (714) 827-9010.
