Studio City Man, 76, Dies After Collision

A 76-year-old Studio City man was fatally injured in a traffic collision Thursday afternoon, Los Angeles police said.
The name of the victim was not released pending notification of relatives. He was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills where he died, Officer Joanna Needham said.
Police said the man was driving west on Laurel Terrace Drive about 2:30 p.m. when his car was hit by another auto traveling south on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle received minor injuries.
Investigators said the second car may have gone through a red light, Needham said.
The accident was under investigation.
