KDOC Wraps Up Year With 3 Programs

ANAHEIM — KDOC Channel 56 will offer three special year-end programs next week, starting Monday at 5 p.m. with “1990: The Year in Review,” a 30-minute roundup of international news events taken from CNN broadcasts aired over the Anaheim-based station.
The show, assembled by KDOC, will repeat at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Also scheduled for New Year’s Eve, from 9 to 11 p.m., is a Japanese-language special broadcast via satellite that will celebrate the holiday with entertainment.
On New Year’s Day at 5 p.m., “Orange County: A Look Back, A Look Ahead,” will review county news events of 1990 and make predictions for 1991 in such areas as the economy, transportation and the environment.
The 30-minute program, produced by the station and hosted by its news anchor Pat Matthews, repeats Wednesday at 1:30 a.m.
