The unidentified remains of a human body were discovered Friday on a mountainside near the San Vicente Reservoir in Lakeside, authorities said.
Detectives are investigating but have no details on the victim’s identity, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Bill Kahn said.
A crew of engineers conducting a survey discovered human bones and the remains of clothing on the southeast side of the reservoir about 11:30 a.m., Kahn said.
