WHO Misses Goal of Universal Vaccination

PARIS — The World Health Organization has failed in its bid to vaccinate every child in the world against polio, measles and other childhood diseases by the end of the year, a leading French researcher says. Marc Girard of the Pasteur Institute says one-third of the world’s children still have not been vaccinated.
