Patrick Holzer of Italy won the super-giant slalom at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, his first World Cup victory.
Paul Accola of Switzerland finished second and closed within eight points (800-792) of Italy’s Alberto Tomba, the World Cup overall leader who skipped Saturday’s downhill and Sunday’s Super-G.
Holzer was timed in 1:17.09, Accola in 1:17.12.
