Olympic champion Bonnie Blair set a rink record in Collalbo, Italy, in winning the 1,000-meter race at the women’s World Cup speedskating competition.
The victory, in 1:20.75, gave Blair a first-place tie in the Cup standings with Christine Aaftink of The Netherlands at 75 points.
