Members of the California Interscholastic Federation’s Southern Section general council voted unanimously to scrap a rule that prohibits some high school athletes from competing for a club during the school season. The rule said that no more than 40% of the members of any prep team could compete for a club in basketball, baseball, volleyball and softball.
