Chance of Rain, Wind Seen Today

There is a slight chance of showers this morning, with decreasing clouds and sunny skies as the day wears on.
According to meteorologist Steve Fletcher of WeatherData, which provides forecasts for The Times, the rain could be coupled with wind.
Winds from the northeast of up to 30 m.p.h. are predicted today, but should decrease later in the day. Daytime high temperatures are expected to be in the mid-60s, with the low tonight about 40 degrees.
Santa Ana had a low of 46 and a high of 67 degrees on Saturday, with an expected high today of 69. In Anaheim, Saturday’s low was 45, with a high of 69 degrees.
It was a brisk 54 degrees in Newport Beach on Saturday, with locally heavy fog and low cloudiness along the coast as far north as Seal Beach.
Temperatures around the county should be in the low 70s by Monday.
