PLACENTIA : 3 Are Appointed to Veterans Committee

The City Council has named three residents to the Placentia Veterans Committee, which advises the council on those who have performed military service.
Residents Ray Juarez, Dana Haas and Barbara Smith were selected to serve on the committee, replacing Louis Gomez, Boyd Christianson and Fred Aguirre.
The committee was formed last year to recognize the city’s veterans and advise city officials on the Placentia Veterans Day ceremony.
