Goin’ Out in Style: In a bluesy, jazzy send-off, Chicago said goodby Wednesday to blues giant Willie Dixon with a funeral procession that was strictly New Orleans-style. Bands stood on corners and played as Dixon’s coffin was carried through the city by a Civil War-era carriage to the sounds of music the blues great made famous. “This is what Willie would have wanted,” blues guitarist Lonnie Brooks said. Dixon died last week in Burbank at age 76.
