Costa Mesa finished at 4-19 despite Jeff Pickens’ 25 points.

St. Bernard 78, Pacifica 53--A good performance by Dan Murray was not enough for outmanned, undersized Pacifica (10-15).

“Under the circumstances, I felt Danny Murray played his best game of the year,” Mariner Coach Rhett Heckel said.

Murray paced the Mariners with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

St. Bernard (18-10) used an aggressive pressure defense to forge a 12-point lead by halftime.
