HOOP FINALS: Eight Orange County high school teams go for coveted Southern Section basketball titles today (C1), boys at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles and girls at UC Irvine’s Bren Center. A county school is guaranteed one division boys’ championship: Top-seeded Trabuco Hills plays La Palma Kennedy. . . . The county’s premier boys’ program will be showcased when Mater Dei (30-1) meets J.W. North of Riverside. The top girls’ team, Brea-Olinda (27-2), battles Inglewood Morningside.
