MARIO SPEAKS: New York Gov. Mario M. Cuomo, never a fan of Clinton’s, told the Boston Globe last week that the Arkansas governor, “stronger” because of “all the mud thrown at him,” should “wrap up the nomination in two weeks.” Is this Cuomo’s way of burying the hatchet? Perhaps. Then again, Cuomo watchers wonder whether he might be trying to set Clinton up for a fall by predicting a victory his sometime rival may not be able to achieve.
