From the Soul: The list of performers for tonight’s sixth annual Soul Train Music Awards is in: Luther Vandross, Public Enemy, Vanessa Williams and Boyz II Men will be among the acts on stage at the Shrine Auditorium. Presenters at the tribute to rap, rhythm and blues, gospel and jazz include John Singleton, “Downtown” Julie Brown and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. The special Heritage Award for career achievement will go to Prince, and the Sammy Davis Jr. Award for entertainer of the year will go to Janet Jackson. The show will be telecast live on KTLA at 8 p.m.
