Maxwell Wine Auction Set: An auction of the late Robert Maxwell’s wine cellar is expected to bring as much as $137,800, the auction house Christie’s said. The top-quality French wines and champagnes that go up for bid March 26 include 2,200 normal-size bottles, 772 magnums and 12 double-magnums, it said. Christie’s said the wines, owned by Maxwell’s Headington Holdings company, were being sold on the instructions of British administrators appointed to oversee the affairs of the financially beleaguered Maxwell Communication Corp.
