Altadena : Chiropractor’s Office OKd

The Town Council last week approved plans for a chiropractor’s office on the northwest corner of Altadena Drive and Lake Avenue, a site that was the focus of vociferous community opposition about two years ago.

The council voted 12 to 0 with one member absent to approve construction of a medical office building at 2581 N. Lake Ave.

At the January council meeting, developer Jerry Dunbar showed plans for a 3,000-square-foot, one-story building with 12 parking spaces and 30% green space.

This month, Dunbar appeared before the Land Use Committee and won its unanimous recommendation.
