Regarding “CSUN Staff to Investigate Racism Charges” on March 14:
I wasn’t angry that young Ms. Brannon, in accusing Cal State Northridge officials of racism, presented only rumor and innuendo to back the claim in her meeting with CSUN President Cleary. It didn’t irritate me that Ms. Brannon evidenced racism by the separatism she seems to advocate and that she objects to white racists but not black racists.
I wasn’t upset by the fact that she presented a list of demands to a university president rather than a list of requests.
What annoyed the hell out of me was that Cleary paid any attention to her.
