Orange Coast Swims to Two Team Titles

The men’s and women’s teams from Orange Coast won the largest community college swim meet in the country, the Cuesta Invitational, Saturday at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
The Pirates won all the relays in both divisions and also swept the freestyle events in the men’s division. The Orange Coast women’s team won without its diving team, and rallied from an 80-point deficit to Cuesta to win.
Matthias Otte won the 100-yard butterfly, 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke and teammate Andreas Rostenberg won the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle.
Jenni Shelden won the 50 and 100 backstroke for the women’s team.
