Crystal Cathedral Plans Music Programs

GARDEN GROVE — A program by the Pacific Symphony and an organ recital by Marie-Madeleine Durufle, the widow of composer Maurice Durufle, will be among four programs at the Crystal Cathedral in May commemorating the 10th anniversary of its Hazel Wright organ.
Daniel Hege will lead the orchestra on May 15 in works by Bach, Alexandre Guilmant and Joseph Jongen. Cathedral organist Frederick Swann will be the soloist. On May 22, Madame Durufle will play works by Handel, Bach, Franck, her husband, who died in 1986, and other composers.
German organist Heidi Emmert will play May 1 and Cathedral organists Swann and Mark Thallander, and composer-organist Robert Hebble will play May 8.
