Dasia Corp. of Camarillo signed a $27-million contract to make golf clubs, bags and accessories for Tasco Limited Inc., a Japanese sporting goods distributor.
David Fernandez, Dasia’s president, said the three-year deal will create 100 local jobs, nearly doubling the company’s payroll. Dasia’s plant on Pleasant Valley Road will also be expanded, he said.
Fernandez said Tasco will sell the Dasia products primarily through the Sabu Department Store chain and at golf courses throughout Japan.
